Supreme goes back to its roots by collaborating with Alien Workshop co-founder Mike Hill, whose far-out artwork completely defied expectations of what a skate brand should look like back in the early ’90s.

Alien Workshop disbanded back in 2013, paving the way for the founding of Fucking Awesome! by long-time Supreme affiliate Jason Dill, who regularly starred in the brand’s lookbooks back in the day.

For SS17, Supreme has linked with Mike Hill to produce a series of skate decks and tees, all of which sport the skate veteran’s weirdo artwork.

Alien Workshop’s Photosynthesis video is, according to Highsnobiety‘s resident skate head Shane Gormley, “one of the most influential ‘artsy’ skate videos, like, ever.” You can check the 2000 vid out in all its glory below.

For more Supreme news, get to know Lance Walsh, the 56-year-old fruit vendor from London who kills it in head-to-toe Supreme looks.
